I've got a '95 Nissan Pathfinder with a half-exploded 4WD system. DrummerWife has, well, a 2000 Ford Escort ZX2. It's a two-door. And it's a Ford Escort.
It also has what we now know to be a dead starter. Here's the situation - the Escort, being a 2-door, won't exactly cut it once DrummerBaby arrives. So, we're already talking about giving the car the boot in a few months. Hopefully, we'll get a service estimate from the shop today, and it won't be too expensive. But we're now preparing for the possibility that our little Escort won't be worth repairing if we're already discussing dumping the thing.
So, not to sound like a broken record, but we've now got only a handful of months to replace our current place of residence and one of our motor vehicles. The fun never stops around the DrummerFamily residence!
Also, tonight is, as I like to call it, our genetics lesson with the nurse practitioner at the OB/GYN. We're going to learn how to be pregnant, and how screwed up our kid is going to be based on how screwed up DrummerWife and I are. :)
