We still need "Pee Prayers"...

Aaron is still not processing any of this fluid he's got trapped in his body. His dopemine has been reduced, in an effort to allow for more free flow of blood to the veins in his kidneys and bladder. The hope is that this will stimulate some urine production. Thus far - no dice. Maybe tomorrow will prove to be a better, more urine-productive day.

We can only hope. It's gotta be better than today was. DrummerWife and I both had to come face to face with some very grave realities regarding Aaron's prospects if he doesn't start recovering the way the doctors expected him to. He *NEEDS* to urinate. Has to, if he wants to stick around for much longer.

Your baby is the most absolute precious being I have seen in a long time. I have a cousin who was born at 1lb 7oz. On May 12th he turned 7. The doctors assured my aunt and uncle that there was no hope. They told them to just give up. But my family prayed and held on to all hope. After 6 months in NICU and quite a few surgeries my cousin came home. He is completely healthy and normal. We thank God for that everyday.

My Grandma is the big prayer junkie in our family so I have assigned her to the job of praying for baby Aaron. We all pray but she is a little more on top of it. She gets on the phone and calls her little prayer friends and does this thing they call a prayer chain. So people everywhere are praying for this baby. He has God on his side, I think he is going to be fine.

Whatever you do, or whatever anyone says, do not lose hope. Do not ever think, even for a second, that it is over. Don't stop fighting for him. If he were a quitter he would not still be here. He needs the world to fight as hard as he is.

I will be watching your blog and checking in on him. Keep us all updated with pictures and anything new that is happening. I cannot wait to see the pictures of him blowing out the candles on his first birthday cake!!!

God Bless you all@

I almost forgot...

Music helped. Lots of music. My aunt and uncle played it for my cousin and it seemed to help him.
